The Andy-Series
The Andy-Series is an ongoing and numbered Pop Art-series, in which every painting has a primary color naming it (The Blue One, The Pink One). Looking through a round window-like hole you can follow a situation in another world. In most of the paintings a person called "Andy" is indirectly playing a role, but you never see him. On every painting you find the signature "Knut Hertel" bottom left and on the back.
The paintings show in a humorous way a timeless view on our human lifes and dreams. Favourite subjects are day-to-day topics such as fashion, growing up, future topics, various views of life and much more.
